My mind doesn’t go to the worst case scenario right away anymore, I am much more present and I feel like I’m living my life.

Before I met Raluca, I thought the world was ending and I was gonna die every day. I was having constant panic attacks. I couldn't make it to work. I'd have to call out. I was just a complete mess. Everything felt like, it was just like surviving one day and just trying to make it to the next.

And now, I feel like a whole different person.

I feel like I can manage my anxiety and I can handle a lot of things that happen in my life and not think like the worst case scenario. Like I feel so much more present. I feel like I'm actually living my life and I was not able to do that before and it's just been a crazy journey, but a beautiful one.

I’m much happier, positive and no longer live in fear.

When I first started the program, I was dealing with a lot of anxiety. I didn't want to do anything. I didn't want to get out of bed. I was always sad. I was always fearful of everything and mostly the unknown.

Now, I'm so much happier. I'm more, um, positive. I no longer live in fear. Whenever I have an anxious moment, I now have the tools to overcome it. Um, definitely the morning and night routines have helped me so much because as an anxiety fighter, I kind of need that structure. And that definitely gives me that sense of security.

I feel capable. I don't feel like the thoughts are running me.

My struggles have been around health and safety with my anxiety. So safety of my person, safety around my health, safety around the physical environment that I'm in and feeling pretty unsafe with all of it.

After doing the program, I respond to them with less fear, most of the time, and that's, it's been a huge shift because my thoughts have always been dominated by fear.

And so having the tools that you've given me to let them have less power over me is, is, has been so powerful. I feel capable. I don't feel like the thoughts are running me. I can handle them and I did not feel capable before I started.

This is such a valuable thing that you have created and I'm so glad that you've opened it up to the world. Know how important this is that you're doing this and how important it was to me, is to me.

Caitlin

I feel so much more confident and I am no longer taking my thoughts are facts.

Struggling a lot with ALS, my dad having it. So I struggled a lot with just being worried about different health things, being wrong with me and I just, I felt like I couldn't shake it. And I would be like constantly monitoring myself, trying to be in control of these situations that I was not in control.

I would say one shift for sure is not taking these thoughts as truth.

I feel like the negative thoughts are a lot less frequent. They're not popping into my head like they were, but now, if it does pop up, I can let it roll off my back, it's not sticking to me anymore.

I feel like the confidence that you've given me is huge. I feel so much more confident in doing these things alone, instead of needing reassurance.

Dana

Now I can be present and in the moment, which was really important to me.

I can now catch the anxious thoughts. I can catch the self doubt and the fears. I'm aware of the things that I'm thinking and I can step back and just decide, okay, do I want to go ahead and enter this vicious cycle? Or do I want to go ahead and just create a more healing or positive direction for myself?

So with just doing that, acknowledging what's going in my mind, what's going on in my mind, being able to step back, it's brought me back to being in the moment, which was like really important to me. So like being present and being in the moment. So with all the tools I've have it's great that now I can be in that space where I can now throughout the day have all these beautiful moments and not just be stuck in these fears because now I can catch them.

The patience that I have and the appreciation that just comes on naturally.

So that is the biggest thing that I have noticed, especially with my daughter, the patience that you're able to have and the appreciation that just comes on naturally. And then another big shift I would say is to be able to accept a thought and not feel like it's controlling you, to turn it around and realize that no, this is a thought that I've created and I'm able to look at it differently.

I came back to my true self, my essence.

I am now more aware, certainly of the patterns that are inserted in my mind. Realizing that my mind is really in charge of my body.

Everything that I think will eventually be actioned in my body. So that was the main shift that I really have to take care of my mind. So if my mind is healthy, so will my body. And that was absolutely key in order to heal my symptoms because to this day I'm not taking any medication, if any symptom comes, I'm able to apply all the techniques that you passed on.

So I really have a menu of techniques that I can safely use. And the thing is, It's coming back to my true self and my essence because I felt at the time that my identity was robbed, that my personality was somewhat hijacked and it was only my perception of things. But I am much happier for sure than when I started out.

My mind doesn't just go to the worst case scenario anymore.

Like before I would never think “Oh, this symptom is because of anxiety”, that wouldn't even be a thought in my mind or “what if it's not, the big C word or what, if it's not MS”, I just never thought those things, I would always go to the worst case scenario and keep going and going and going until I reached out to my doctor to give me confirmation or someone else to give me confirmation that I was okay.

I feel like now my mind goes to “what if it's not that or maybe this is my anxiety”. My mind does think of other options other than just “I'm dying of X, Y, and Z” or “I'm going to be diagnosed with this”, it goes to other things as well. It doesn't just go to the worst case scenario.

I have trained my mind to think of other things. I definitely don't feel like it's debilitating like it was, I feel like I can still come to work and have a regular day, enjoy time with my friends. Like I said, health anxiety is still there, but now I just have the tools to help myself.

Like even today I had an episode, but I was able to take a protective breath or do the other things that you've taught me to help bring myself down instead of just kind of spiral out of control. I also have not gone to the doctor's office unwarranted, like in a very long time, which is huge for me.

I used to go to the doctor all the time. I think I'm just able to better manage my anxiety so that I can still live life. Because before I just felt like I was stuck in this box of anxiety and I could not enjoy life. I couldn't experience certain things. I didn't really want to experience things.

You know, I was just having a lot of dark thoughts and feelings and really feeling depressed because of my anxiety.

Thank you so much for, for everything. Truly. I'm so, so, so grateful.

I don't feel those symptoms anymore.

I had  major health anxiety from a traumatic experience after I had my baby. It was a health scare and something I had not experienced before. So I was in a place of isolation and fear. The thing that I wanted to get out of was having physical symptoms and really not being able to show up like for my family and for myself.

The physical symptoms were scary like shortness of breath or chest pain. And I've been able to do that with Ralu. She taught me tools, she taught me ways to trust myself, to, know that these are all just thoughts that they're actually not facts at all, and that you are safe and you went through something that was scary and it's normal to have these fears, but these fears are lies, they're not true and you're safe and you can do hard things and you got through hard things.

So that's what I said at the beginning. I didn't want to feel those symptoms anymore and I don't, I don't feel those symptoms anymore. I can go out for my family and my life is fulfilled by knowing that I have control of how I feel and I’m there for my family. And I would recommend this to, of course, anyone with health anxiety, but honestly, anxiety in general, because we get into these thought patterns and we don't know how to get out of it.

And sometimes you need someone with a different perspective and someone with experience. I've always felt that anything I've come to you with you've been able to guide me and coach me with wisdom, with kindness and really your own experience. So that's huge because when you have these fears, especially health fears, you feel alone and you feel like no one understands.

Kim

Since I've started working with you, I'm more easily able to catch the catastrophic train of thoughts before they escalate. And this is still a work in progress, but I'm getting better at reframing my thoughts and I'm able to do things that I wasn't before, like I can go to work and enjoy being there and not just being in my head all the time.

Now I'm able to control my mind.

My health anxiety was very bad and it lasted for about four to five years and I was struggling with a lot of physical symptoms. So physical symptoms in the sense of headaches, dizziness, heart palpitations, tired, not feeling like myself. I felt like I couldn't go anywhere. I didn't like to be alone. I felt like I always needed to be with somebody.

I was constantly stuck in my head. I always felt like something was wrong with me. No matter how many doctors I went to, they always told me I was fine, but I never felt reassured. And I just always felt like I was going to be in this impending doom for the rest of my life.

Now I'm able to control my mind.

I no longer allow the thoughts to consume me. So instead of the thoughts that I used to feel and think things and run to the worst case scenario and feel like I was spiraling, I'm now able to recognize the thoughts, I'm now able to have the tools to decipher what I should do and how to make those thoughts go away because they're not facts and they don't serve me.

I'm now able to find safety within myself and feel comfortable and go places, do things, be with people and not have to feel like I'm impending doom, like anxiety takes over me and I feel empowered and I feel happy within myself now.

I can reframe my thoughts into “I'm okay or “I am safe right now” and ground myself into the present.

Before I met you, I was in a constant state of panic, always thinking the worst was going to happen or catastrophizing, thinking that every sensation in my body was something deadly or that I needed to be afraid of. I was always thinking I needed to go to the doctor or hospital to be checked to find the answers.

I'm no longer in a state of panic or fight or flight mode.

I can usually catch my thoughts before they become overwhelming or too bad and turn into anxiety. And I've proven to myself that I can do the things that used to make me anxious. I proved to myself that I can get through the next thing because I got through the thing I did before.

And, if I have a sensation in my body, I can usually catch the thought before it becomes something terrible. And then I can reframe my thoughts into I'm okay, or I am safe right now and ground myself into the present.

Lisa

I've definitely changed how I think and I'm more self aware of how I'm feeling and how it's linked to my physical symptoms. It's helped me control the anxiety where I wasn't able to before.

I was able to book doctor’s appointments to take care of myself and to also take a trip with my kids, get on a plane and fly.

Before I came to see you, I would say that my health anxiety was at an all time high because my husband died last year and after kind of the initial shock wore off, my brain went right back into what it knows best, which is constantly worrying about my health. And then I had the added layer of worrying about, you know, well “ if he's gone, then what, if something happens to me?” “ What will happen with my kids?”

I feel like you've given me so many tools to, you know, not only get in touch with what's going on in my body and figure out how to help myself feel safe in my body. And I think actually that was the biggest shift, I think if you brought me to that understanding.

I had never thought of it that way before. That it was about feeling safe in my body and that that's what the anxiety was kind of alerting me to. And so that was the first big one, is having that realization that, oh wow. Okay. This is this, there's something going on here. And then also you taught me, you know, not to fight it, but to pay attention to it and sit with it until it passes.

So I think those were the biggest things and not being so hard on myself, having more compassion for what I'm going through.

Well, when we first started, I had a number of doctor's appointments that I needed to make just for preventative checkups. And I was so paralyzed.

There was no way I was going to be able to do that without. You know, it gave me a panic attack, just thinking about the possibility of making an appointment. And during the time that we've worked together, I have scheduled doctor's appointments and gotten checkups that I was overdue on.

And I know for a fact that I was incapable of doing that when we started working together. And that was one of my goals was to, I told you that at the beginning that I wanted to be able to make doctor's appointments and take care of myself.

One of my other goals was to take a trip with my kids, which I also did. I was able to get on a plane and fly. You helped me with that a lot.

I have more of a control over my dizziness and the thoughts that provoke the dizziness.

I definitely feel like I have more of a control over my dizziness and the thoughts that provoke the dizziness.

So, do you fear it as much as you used to? - No

I definitely feel like I'm more in control of it than it is of me. I feel like I'm definitely more able to know why my dizziness is coming and write down like right then and there what's happening and realize okay, it's just my thoughts. It's nothing that's happening physically, it's just my thoughts are trying to take over, and I'm not going to let them, so I feel like I definitely have more of a grip on my thoughts and not letting them take over.

Definitely feel more confident in myself, being alone with the kids, so I feel more okay doing it. And I know that I have my tools and my skills where if I were to feel something, I could come down. And then if I really can't, then I know what steps I need to take.

I'm no longer fearful.

Before I started the program, I was really struggling immensely with my health anxiety and something that I'd never really dealt with as a child. So I felt like after going through a traumatic experience with COVID and my mom being hospitalized I saw that my health anxiety was really intensified and I thought it was time for me to confront it, confront my fears.

So I decided to do the program and I learned a lot of tools to help me reframe my thoughts, to help me kind of see things differently and confront my fears and have more compassion for myself and be confident.

I'm very thankful for this program. These 12 weeks have been a very great experience and now I can say that I'm no longer fearful.

I have more trust in myself and in the universe and I'm no longer in that fight or flight mode. So I would recommend this program to anyone that's struggling with health anxiety or is fearful they are not trusting or themselves. It's a very good investment.
